It was a good day..

I was so proud of BBQ when the night before she asked us to read the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus.  It was a wonderful idea and we may have found a new tradition.

Wow, those Easter baskets are so full!!  Books, CD, Movie, stickers, makeup, baby clothes and lots of goodies.

BBQ really wanted a recorder, how crazy is the Easter Bunny.

Baby Girl got some rubber duckies, bubbles, 2 new dresses and new books!

All the girls together for a picture before church.  I love that all the girls matched this year and I love the fact that they wanted to match ( I was happy to coordinate).

Can you tell how much they love Baby Girl and she loves them?

Easter Egg Hunt at Grandma and Papa's house has begun!

Baby girl had a little help from Daddy

Sweet Girl got a lot of help from her friend, Luke.  It was really hard to get her to slow down so I could take a picture of her.

BBQ loves the hunt, she was very determined to find as many as possible with no help.

 Who could resist that face???

My baby girls.  Can they just stay this way forever?

We tried to get a good cousin picture for Nonnie - it was just too late in the day for the babies.

But boy the big kids know how to take a great picture!  And look how they coordinate!

Lost In Time

I have a theory that if you want to get lost in time, go buy a car!

After weeks and weeks of car shopping - and debating on another mini-van or SUV. We found the best SUV for our family.  All the girls can sit together and we have not 1 sunroof, not 2 sunroofs but 3sunroofs!

I never in my wildest dreams would have even looked at this Land Rover.  But it really seem to have all that we needed.  I wish I could say Hubby was as captivated with it as the girls are but he is not.  I am just praying he will be won over by "Marshmallow". Yeah, you heard me right.  The girls call the Land Rover, Marshmallow.

Did I mention you lose time when buying a car?  Anyways, I have to brag on my girls.  They were so patient and so good.

And DSs made all the difference in the world!

Lemonade for a Purpose

BBQ was all excited when she heard about our neighborhood yard sale. She had big plans to make Lemonade to sell for one of the guys at our church on a mission trip in South Africa.

So with some help from Nonnie (the cute polka-dot beverage dispenser) and mom, she was in business.  She had no problem asking people to buy from her.  She wanted to make as much money as possible.

She was a little disappointed that she did not make too much money but was happy when Mommy and Daddy bought the leftover waters and lemonade.  She was so proud to donate the money she made.

We know that GOD will bless that money to help meet the needs of children in South Africa.

Making of a robot

BBQ had to make a robot for school by recycling things around the house.

So when you add an old shoe box, gift bag, can of formula, plastic water bottle tops, straws and some M&MS. (among other things)

  You have Snowy.

Who has a jet pack of M&Ms!

We had a lot of fun with this project.  Big Sister had great advice to offer since she made one in the past.  I was surprised at how BBQ was open to lots of suggestions.  I think our team work went so well.

See what happens when Daddy dresses me!

I leave the camera out so that we can all use it, so I believe BBQ captured these pictures. As you can see, Daddy picked out Baby Girl's outfit for our mall trip on Saturday.
It is cute that they match.

This proves that Baby Girl can wear anything and still look cute!

Her Dream

I love to dream about what my girls will be but even more I love watching them dream.

Sweet Girl has a dream to lead Praise and Worship in our church, to write music and to do whatever the Lord leads her to do.  She has already found her main instrument, her voice.  But she is so excited to learn the guitar and the ability to read music.  She loves the idea of letting her feelings lead her music.  I am so excited for her and the opportunity that she has to grow in her love for music.  I have no doubt God is going to do amazing things in her life, I am so thankful I have a front row view!

Spring Break with Nonnie

The Mill House -  Nonnie's Favorite place

The girls loved watching them make the pizza and put it in the brick oven.

Mommy and Sweet Girl ready to enjoy some pizza.

Nonnie was so excited to share her favorite Pizza place.

 The Pizza was AWESOME!

Even Baby Girl got to try some - well a little crust.

 BBQ even liked it!

Oh and we played a little Wii - Just Dance

Nonnie and Izabelle sitting back and watching.

Cuddle time in the morning, while Mommy gets some coffee.

BBQ gets glasses

It seems inevitable that one or all of our children will have to wear glasses. So when the teacher sent a note saying BBQ was having trouble seeing the board, I had a flash back to my kindergarten days and I knew what that meant.  So we took BBQ to the eye doctor and sure enough she needs glasses.

She was thrilled.  She tried on at least 15 pairs of glasses (I had 2 choices when I was her age).

It was exciting and a little sad for me.  I know what it is like to depend on glasses most of my life but I am so thankful she is excited about it.   And I must say, she has great taste.  She picked out the cutest glasses!
