Nothing like sharing a good story

I hope my girls remember the times when they read a book together, giggled late into the night sharing secrets and everything else sisters share .  Sharing a room is not always easy but it sure makes for some wonderful memories.

Poor Zebra - she looks a little left out.

And the old will teach their young...

I think I have scrapbooked my whole life so it gives me such pleasure to see my girls following in my footsteps.  I love the creative process and the perserving of memories.

The pictures, ribbon, stickers, papers, glues and even glitter just make it all the more fun.

A Veggie Tale

Baby Girl is enjoying trying out a new world of  veggies.  We started with a yummy jar of Sweet Potatoes.  Daddy really enjoys feeding her new foods and watching her funny faces as she eats it.  Sweet Girl and BBQ tried the sweet potatoes before their sister, thankfully Baby Girl liked it better than them.

What a sweet face!

Reservations for 5

Yes, we are a family of 5.  It felt so real when I made our dinner reservations for PF Changs (thank goodness for their online reservations, it makes a Mom's job so much easier!).
Chopsticks!!

Mommy finally in the picture

Daddy sharing his water with Baby Girl
We had a wonderful pre-Valentine's Day dinner.  Sweet girl and I love their lettuce wraps and BBQ was happy to eat some of Daddy's honey chicken - even baby girls ate dinner with us.  Well sorta of, we brought her rice cereal to eat.

BIG Sisters are the best

Baby girl is not lacking for love or attention.  Sweet Girl makes sure of that! Sweet girl is a great big sister.  She loves to carry her baby sister around, feed her a bottle, and pick her up if needed. She is like a little mommy.

They could look at each other for hours, making faces and giggling at each other.  God is so good!!  He knows what he is doing and his plan is always better than ours.

Will you accept this rose...

My hubby has always been the romantic one in the relationship (I tend to worry too much that I will come off cheesy) but with 3 little girls in the family romance tends to take a side step.  So I was pleasantly surprised when hubby came home with a rose and asked me "To please accept this rose".
Of course, I said yes and found that a card was attached asking me to our Church Marriage Prom.  I was so thrilled!!  We did not go last year and I had heard such wonderful things. Plus all of our friends were going!!

The grandparents were so supportive - one set babysat and the other sent me a new dress and a tie for hubby.  It was an incredible evening - we danced all night and made some wonderful memories. It felt so good to be all dressed up and not sharing my man with anyone.

You would have no idea from this picture that we had been listening to a 5 month old scream herself to sleep.

Hubby was great, he danced all night!

Sharing a good book

BBQs favorite book was Goodnight Moon, we read it to her all the time before she went to bed.  The board book was used so often that it is now taped together.  But this did not keep BBQ from sharing this beloved book with her baby sister.
